The National Basketball Association and the National Basketball Association
Players' Union have come to terms on a new collective bargaining agreement.
The existing collective bargaining agreement was due to expire on July
1, 2005. The agreement eliminates the chance of a lock-out, and ensures
that the 2005-2006 season will proceed as planned.
