Susan Athey joins Criterion Auctions as Senior Consultant

Washington, DC - Susan C. Athey, Professor of Economics at Harvard University, joined Criterion Auctions as its Senior Consultant in June 2006. Athey brings to Criterion vast expertise in the fields of game theory, econometrics, and industrial
organization. Before joining the Harvard faculty, she was Holbrook Working Professor of Economics at Stanford University, and she was Castle Krob Career Development Associate Professor of Economics at MIT until 2001. Since 2001, she has served as Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research; was a National Fellow at the Hoover Institution from 2000 to 2001; and was Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Cowles Foundation for Economic Research, Yale University, from 1997 to 1998. Professor Athey received her Ph.D. in business from Stanford University School of Business in 1995, and she
received her B.A. in economics, mathematics, and computer science from Duke University in 1991.
