WHO WE ARE

CRITERION AUCTIONS was founded by experienced scholars and consultants from the American Enterprise Institute, the Brookings Institution, the University of Maryland, and internationally recognized consulting firms. Criterion Auctions provides expert analysis for clients who are engaged in matters of market design or market competition that involve a complex auction, bargaining, or econometric component, or for whom an economic litigation or regulatory proceeding requires complex strategic or econometric analysis.

In the past two years, Criterion Auctions has provided regulatory or litigation consulting to Nextel Partners, Intelsat, Lorillard Tobacco Company, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Florida Department of Transportation. In addition, Criterion Auctions has provided strategic consulting to Access Spectrum, British Columbia Ministry of Forests, Electricite de France, the National Basketball Association, Nextel Mexico, One2One Communications, PSEG Power, T-Mobile, and VicForests.

Criterion Auctions has also served clients in the auction of third-generation wireless spectrum in Germany; in the Taiwan 3G auction; in the U.S. C & F block reauction; and in the U.S. PCS Narrowband auction. In addition to spectrum auctions for wireless communications, our auction expertise spans industries that range from electricity to timber to natural resources. Criterion Auctions is a subsidiary of Criterion Economics LLC.
