JEFFREY D. WEST, Vice President, Criterion Economics Jeffrey D. West is Vice President at Criterion Economics. At Criterion, Mr. West’s economic consulting experience has included work in antitrust, regulations, damages, and other litigation matters throughout a variety of industries. Mr. West has provided extensive empirical support in finance cases at Criterion for clients such as AIG, Fidelity Investments, Credit Suisse, UBS Securities, and Bank of America. He has modeled equity markets in multiple securities litigation cases. In addition, he has analyzed the effects of political responses to international economic crises in political risk insurance litigation matters. Mr. West’s telecommunications experience includes regulatory and antitrust consulting for clients such as Verizon, Bell South, AT&T, Qwest, Corning, Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, and the Walt Disney Company. Mr. West has also provided auction support to participants in FCC wireless spectrum auctions. Mr. West also has antitrust and regulatory experience in energy markets. His work includes assisting in the design of wholesale electricity markets in New England and in Colombia. Before joining Criterion Economics, Mr. West worked as an Associate at LECG, an economic consulting firm, where he estimated damages in litigation cases and supported expert testimony in antitrust cases and international trade disputes. Mr. West earned a B.A. in Economics and Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences from Northwestern University. Download CV |
